Coach Knoblauch quote on Oilers problems leaves fans very concerned

The Edmonton Oilers dropped another disappointing loss after last night's game, and Coach Knoblauch came just shy from calling the team the worst insult in the NHL - soft.
The Edmonton Oilers seemed to check out and roll over to take the loss to Tampa. Players didn't come out in usual fashion for post-game interviews, indicating that there may have been a meeting too.

Multiple other NHL media sources have picked up on this quote from Knoblauch as a concerning sign for the current state of the Oilers, and they're probably right. Knoblauch is essentially calling the Oilers currently play soft - a heavy insult in hockey.
In the last stretch of games extending before the 4 Nations break, the Oilers have got away from their strengths.
Their offence is entirely underwhelming at even strength, their defensive results have begun to regress, and their goaltending problems look more prominent than ever.
There's very little physical play or even pushback to recent losses. The Oilers have been rolling over, and look like a team without an identity.
It's hard to sit here and think this team could go an win a Stanley Cup. I just look at this lineup, and there's still a lot of holes. We can sit here and talk about the goaltending but the Oilers scored one goal yesterday the offence on this team is just completely dried up.
The Oilers unquestionably have the skill on their roster to get back to the Stanley Cup Final. They've just lost their way at the moment, and hopefully they get back to it before it's too late.
