The Edmonton Oilers are on the ice for practice before tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators, and are trying more sweeping line changes.
The Oilers have been trying constant line changes in recent weeks searching for a boost to their offence.
Connor McDavid has called out the team to improve and find their consistency, and they'll be looking to heed that message tonight.
Edmonton Oilers debut sweeping line changes vs Ottawa Senators
According to Oilers reporters at practice, the team is expecting to lineup as follows for tonight's game:
Jake Walman will be making his return to the lineup since suffering an injury in preseason, a much needed addition to the Oilers blue line which should settle down
Darnell Nurse's weak play.
On the first line, the Oilers will be once again loading up McDavid and Draisaitl on the first line with
Vasily Podkolzin on the wing.
Injured defenceman
Alec Regula also got back on the ice, so hopefully he's also nearing a return to play.
Tonight's game in Ottawa will be the final game of Edmonton's current road trip, and so far they've posted a disappointing record of 1-3.
They'll be looking for a strong effort in Ottawa tonight, and head home with at least one more win from this trip.
