The Edmonton Oilers have announced the team has made two roster moves, bringing up Max Jones and Cam Dineen from the Bakersfield Condors.
Oilers recall two players, make emergency roster move indicating another absence
According to the Oilers statement, forward Max Jones is expected to join the team for his first game with Edmonton, and Cam Dineen is being brought up on an emergency basis.
Calling up Max Jones to give him a look indicates that another player is expected to come out of the Oilers lineup on the wings, which is currently jam packed with talent.
Even after sending down Savoie, the Oilers will face a tough decision on who to take out next. It's very possible that a player like
Kasperi Kapanen hits waivers in the near future.
Max Jones called up, Cam Dineen unlikely to play with Oilers
We'll have to see how the Oilers decide to utilize both players tomorrow night on home ice against the Montreal Canadiens.
