The Edmonton Oilers have announced the team has made two roster moves, bringing up Max Jones and Cam Dineen from the Bakersfield Condors.

Oilers recall two players, make emergency roster move indicating another absence

According to the Oilers statement, forward Max Jones is expected to join the team for his first game with Edmonton, and Cam Dineen is being brought up on an emergency basis.
Calling up Max Jones to give him a look indicates that another player is expected to come out of the Oilers lineup on the wings, which is currently jam packed with talent.
Even after sending down Savoie, the Oilers will face a tough decision on who to take out next. It's very possible that a player like Kasperi Kapanen hits waivers in the near future.

Max Jones called up, Cam Dineen unlikely to play with Oilers

Earlier this week the Oilers announced a recall of defenceman Cam Dineen, also on an emergency basis, when the team was dealing with injuries and illnesses to a number of defenceman.
Oilers coach Knoblauch stated today that Mattias Ekholm is expected to miss tomorrow's game after dealing with an illness that's lingered for months. It's most likely that Dineen is being recalled as insurance behind Ekholm, but isn't likely to play.
Oilers fans may have expected to see Travis Dermott recalled instead, after just being claimed on waivers by the team last week. Unfortunately, Dermott is dealing with personal issue and is unavailable.
We'll have to see how the Oilers decide to utilize both players tomorrow night on home ice against the Montreal Canadiens.
