PK Subban has a brutal piece of advice for Oilers against Panthers in Cup Final
PK Subban currently one of hockey's most outspoken commentators, and before Game 4 of the Cup Final, he had a controversial piece of advice for the Oilers.
On a segment before the game, Subban said the Oilers needed to bring their most physical effort to the Panthers so far, that they needed to punch them right in the mouth.
"Punch them right in the mouth. Right from the start of the game. And maybe literally. You might have to... If you're a bigger body guy on the Edmonton Oilers, your barn, your fans, the Florida Panthers are gonna have to spill some blood if they want to raise the cup on our ice"

Instead, the Oilers brought their best offensive effort of the series. They came out flying, playing their best since the first game of the series, but finally figured out how to solve Sergei Bobrovsky.
The Oilers have no need to get in the mud with the physical play. That's the Panthers style of hockey. The strength of the Oilers is their speed, passing, and finishing around the net. They don't need to chase around the Panthers trying to fight a losing battle - the Oilers need to dictate the unmatchable pace of play they're capable of.
The powerplay has been cold during this series, but hopefully the offensive explosion of Game 4 continues into the next effort on the road in Florida. The Oilers have the full ability, talent, and even precedent this season to prove they can come back from rock bottom - now they'll be looking to make history with a comeback on the biggest stage.
