Over the past three games, the Oilers have shown that the team may have turned a corner after having such a dreadful start to November.

After drubbing the Ducks 8-2 and beating the Stanley Cup champions 5-4 in a shootout, the Oilers took aim to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Jets open the scoring from Cole Perfetti on the power play which held for two straight periods. It wasn't till the 3rd at 13:11 when Darnell nurse scored his fourth goal of the season from Ryan McLeod and Mattias Janmark.

This set the stage for the decisive goal that was scored on the power play by Leon Draisaitl at 17:47.

As the power play ticked down, Evan Bouchard passed off to McDavid in which he passed to Draisaitl where he ripped the puck past Connor Hellebuyck for his 10th of the season. The Oilers added an empty net by Ryan McLeod which put them over the top 3-1.

It's important that the Oilers leadership group continues to make a statement showing that the team is no longer in peril and that they will continue this winning streak. Hopefully the Oilers can put November in their rearview mirror.
