Connor McDavid Hits Milestone That Hasn't Been Met Since 2013
Each night as I scroll through Twitter and other means to read about the Edmonton Oilers, stat after stat about this masterpiece of a season Connor McDavid is putting together continues to amaze me.
McDavid posted another incredible start to be the first player to score 30 goals before the Christmas break. The last player to do this was Alexander Ovechkin in 2013. McDavid also was the first oiler to score 30 before Christmas since 1986.
He also has scored 30 in 35 games which is impressive, to say the least. At the current rate he's going he will meet 70 goals this season which in all the years I've watched hockey I've never seen. This torrid pace of goals certainly will put him at the front of the pack for the Rocket Richard trophy.
The 25-year-old center currently is playing 34 games, he has scored 30 goals, and 36 assists for 66 points.
