Connor McDavid's opens up about the series loss to Vegas
A second consecutive year Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers made it to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, this time taking on the loaded Vegas Golden Knights in the second round of the playoffs.
When he said that he thought the team from 2022-2023 would have a good chance in the playoffs if they could get past the series, he was correct.
There is no doubt that the Oilers are still a force to be reckoned with in the Stanley Cup playoffs and with recent signings, the Oilers look to stay competitive in the race and hope that this year will be their year.
It's the small moments that matter in a series, which is why McDavid said he believed that the team was at its best when facing the Knights, and he thought they deserved a win.
In 2023-2024, the Oilers will be hoping that they can make a bigger impact in the postseason and push deeper into the playoffs.
