The Edmonton parted ways with forward Zach Kassian back at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal this past summer in a trade with the Arizona Coyotes.

Coyotes have acquired winger Zack Kassian from the Edmonton Oilers, a first round pick (29th overall) in the 2022 NHL Draft, Edmonton's third-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and Edmonton's second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft in exchange for Arizona's 32nd overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft (originally belonging to Colorado).

The move was more a way to clear Kassian from the cap for Oilers. Kassian and his Arizona Coyotes were playing the New Jersey Devils Sunday, seeing Kassian score his 2nd goal as a Coyote and 2nd of the season. Kassian has 2 points throughout the entire year, and oddly enough they are goals.

This would cause popular YouTuber and Oilers fan Nathan Grav from "Graviteh" to roast Kassian on social media with this savage tweet:

oh Zack Kassian just scored a goal! I wonder how his season is go-OH MY GOODNESS.
