Nickelback has faith in Edmonton Oilers hockey
It has been reported that the Edmonton Oilers are currently working on a re-tooling strategy to improve their chances of contending in the near future.
Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Klim Kostin and Kailer Yamamoto will not be returning to the team.
Bet the house on the #Oilers next season @nickelback says @mcdavid97 is hoisting the mug next season 🏆🤘🏻
Despite this setback, the loyal fans of Edmonton remain undeterred, and rightfully so. The team is still considered a strong contender.
Interestingly, the popular hard rock band Nickelback and its lead singer, Chad Kroeger, hail from Edmonton, Alberta.
During a recent concert, Kroeger confidently declared that the Oilers will lift the Stanley Cup next year.
He also mentioned he would be doing terrible things to the Cup after they won it.
As an aging rocker, it's hard telling what he means.. but I'm assuming it won't be G-rated.
