As part of the recent Edmonton Oilers signings, Raphael Lavoie was signed, who had a great season in Bakersfield, scoring 25 goals and 20 assists for 45 points in 61 games. Lavoie's contract is for 1 year, with an AAV of $874,125.
During the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Lavoie was selected in the 2nd round. In 136 games in the American Hockey League in three years, he has 81 points.
His new contract will make him an affordable addition to the team and a player with size and great shooting abilities.
