On another day of bad news for the NHL and NHL clubs, one team will be forced to share their minor-league, ECHL affiliate with another

There was an announcement today from the Winnipeg Jets that they will be sharing their ECHL partnership with the Carolina Hurricanes, who play in the NHL in the southern US. This decision wasn't made deliberately.

It was less than a week ago that the Jets announced their affiliation with the Norfolk Admirals.

With Jets and Canes prospects now being sent to the ECHL club, it spells uncertainty for both teams in the coming months. Having been left high and dry by the Chicago Wolves, the team has nowhere to turn, and it appears that there is no one else they can turn to.

Until recently, it has been concluded that the business of the Hurricanes and Admirals had been completed.

As far as talent management and business management are concerned, Waddell and the Canes have had a huge fumble here.
