From the time we were young children most of us wanted to join a minor league hockey team, as it was a place for kids to go escape from school work and have fun playing the best sport in the world.
Unfortunately, we've heard or seen many times where that fun has been taken away by a crazy parent in the stands.
But this is definitely a first, during a minor league hockey game a young player was viciously attacked by the coach of the opposing team.
This scene occured at the Aréna Côte-de-Beaupré in Quebec. Another disturbing scene in minor hockey arenas in Quebec... Sunday evening at the Aréna Côte-de-Beaupré, a coach jumped on the ice and attacked a player from the opposing team.
It all started after a player on the other team was pushed to the ice, the crazed coach jumps onto the ice and sprints across the surface to tackle the player on the opposing team. The officials obviously canceled the rest of the game and no additional information has been made available at this time.
First and foremost we hope the young player is ok and doesn't suffer any physical or psychological trauma from the attack and two, hopefully this crazed coach is booted from ever coaching again and gets charged for this pathetic attack to the young player.
