Many prominent NHL insiders have claimed that McDavid and Draisaitl want to play together and win together in Edmonton, and after Draisaitl re-signed, it's guaranteed that McDavid will too. Oilers President Jeff Jackson even used to be McDavid's agent, and essentially confirmed that him and Draisaitl are a package deal.
