The news these days coming from the Edmonton Oilers organization continues to blossom.

The team is currently enjoying a six game-winning streak as they've gone on a tear over the past two weeks. They've also received good news in terms of their injured players as Dylan Holloway has been sent to the Bakersfield Condors on loan after clearing long term injury reserve.

Holloway, who was the Oilers first round draft pick in 2020 has certainly had a rocky start to his NHL career with numerous injuries plaguing him which has kept him from the lineup on a consistent basis.

Oilers insider Bob Stauffer tweeted out his view on where Holloway stands with the Oilers.

During his time with the team, Holloway has not found a steady position in terms of his role with the Oilers. Touted as a prospect who should be on the Oilers top 6 has been mostly in the bottom 6 and has not produced the points that pundits and scouts had predicted.

With the Oilers on their winning streak and no pressure to bring Holloway back as soon as possible it's wise the Oilers are sending him to the Condors and potentially experimenting on where he may fit even at center.

The Oilers will be playing their next game against the Ottawa Senators which will be held on January 6th. Game time will be at 10:00 PM eastern.
