This NHL playoffs will crown a new Stanley Cup winner and will also break a long-term drought as all four NHL conference finalists seek to end their's.

All four finalists have either not won a Cup since the 1990s and the Oilers are the oldest about drought having one at the turn of the 90s. The Oilers have only been to the Cup final once since 1990 when they took on the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006. The Hurricanes emerged victorious, and many fans hope that this season will be the year that the Oilers can raise it once again.

The Rangers are also poised to take a series run at the prized trophy with the team firing on all cylinders and ready to take on the Panthers. The Rangers received good news for their lineup as Filip Chytil and Blake Wheeler are ready for action.

Out of the four finalists, The Panthers seek to have a back-to-back finals appearance after taking on the Vegas Golden Knights last season to which the Knights won their first in their history.

Dallas would like to take another shot at a Cup as they raised their's in 1999 against the the Buffalo Sabres.

The Oilers will take on the Dallas Stars and it will be a rather interesting series considering how both teams are designed. Game one is set to begin on Thursday May 23rd in Dallas and game time will be set for 6:30 pm local time.
