Bruins goalie challenges Leafs goalie to fight as game ends In heated brawl
Tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs visited the Boston Bruins for what could turn out to be a preview of the first round of the playoffs. The Bruins beat the Leafs handedly by a score of 4-1, and the game ended in a few heated scraps, including Beuins goalie Jeremy Swayman actually leaving the net looking for a fight.
In the final period of the game, both Max Domi and Tyler Bertuzzi of the Leafs fought Charlie McAvoy and Parker Wotherspoon respectively. Bertuzzi's fight with Wotherspoon looked like it could've been personal between the former teammates, and they continued chirping the penalty box. Max Domi on the other hand jumped McAvoy for a few dirty punches and a body slam before it really became a fight.
It would be fantastic TV to watch to see these two teams go at each other once again in the playoffs, this time with the Leafs more battle tested and tougher all around. The Bruins swept the season series between the two teams, but everyone knows a playoff series between these teams would go seven games like it always has.
