There are two good news stories for Oilers fans. The Oilers are on a three-game winning streak and have received points in four of their last five games. With this winning streak, they have outscored their opponents 17-6 and beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 last night to boost their confidence.
The second and just as important piece of news is that Oilers star Evander Kane is set to return to the lineup against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night. This is fantastic news for the Oilers, he provides them with much-needed toughness and the skill to score.
Kane has been recovering from a grizzly wrist injury he sustained earlier this season which has kept him out for several weeks. He resume skating a few weeks ago and now appears to be set to return to the lineup.
The Oilers should feel an immediate impact with his return and will bolster their chances of making the playoffs this season. They are currently in a fight to maintain a wild card spot in the Western Conference.
