Connor Bedard put himself in the history books after leading Team Canada to back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior Hockey Championships this past summer in Edmonton, and January in Halifax.

The 17 year-old broke all Canadian records including Eric Lindros' for most points at the World Junior's, and points all-time at the World Junior's. It was truly something special. Bedard has since returned to his Western Hockey League team the Regina Pats and has been untouchable.

Bedard's popularity has risen so much during Wednesday night's game, they decided to play at the Scotiabank Saddledome, home of the Calgary Flames, Bedard would sell out the 19,259 seats to witness Bedard and his Regina Pats face-off vs the Calgary Hitmen.

Bedard would score the Pats first goal of the night on a perfect snipe most NHL goalies would of missed.

Bedard would also score the game winner in a Shootout, leading the Pats to a 6-5 comeback win.
