Ex Oilers defenceman wedding photos go viral
After the Stanley Cup is won, the media and Twitter often leak information about the after-party, giving the world a glimpse into how NHL players celebrate their hard-earned victory.
There have been stories of teams racking up exorbitant bar tabs, unimaginable to regular fans, and servers receiving tips that could rival a year's salary.
Many NHL players and celebrities attended former Oilers defenseman Tyson Barrie's wedding in Victoria, BC. The event, which took place over the past weekend, saw the presence of notable NHL stars such as Sidney Crosby, Mitch Marner, Darnell Nurse, and Nathan MacKinnon. In addition to these hockey players, Hollywood celebrities Justin Bieber and Ryan Reynolds were also in attendance.
One can only imagine the cost of a wedding like this, from the extravagant meal for the guests to the abundant supply of alcohol. Judging by the photos, it seems like everyone had a fantastic time.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Tyson Barrie and his new bride, Emma Rose, as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.
