Former NHL defenseman Marc Methot was never afraid to speak his mind no matter who it pissed off the big 6'4 defenceman wasn't worried of the back lash.
Ever since hanging up the skates back in 2019 Methot has been very vocal on social media about what he likes and doesn't like in the NHL. One team the former Ottawa Senator's defenseman seems to hate is the Winnipeg Jets.
Methot would absolutely trash the Jets on his Instagram account talking about people not want to play in Winnipeg saying:
I can see I've riled up lots of people with this post. I'd like to take the time to apologize for forgetting to mention another thing. 99.9% of players have the Winnipeg Jets on their "No Trade" lists. Have a great day
- Marc Methot
Despite Methot's savage comments the Winnipeg Jets are currently number one in a recent poll at odds of winning the Stanley Cup with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Carolina Hurricanes rounding out the top three.
