Former first-round draft choice Jesse Pujujarvi has no desire to remember his time with the Edmonton Oilers. It's no surprise, as his production and value in the Oilers organization dropped dramatically as the years went on.

These comments were made by Carolina forward Sebastian Aho as he opened up about Pujujarvi coming to the Carolina Hurricanes and what his experience was like in the Edmonton organization.

Longtime friend Sebastian Aho has taken in the power forward and - in his latest interview - recalls that Puljujärvi's time in Edmonton was incredibly difficult on his confidence and mental health. To the point where JP won't even talk about it.

Pujujarvi was traded to the Hurricanes days before the trade deadline and has been struggling to adapt to the hurricane style as he has played eight games, has scored no points and is a minus-three.

He is in the final year of his contract which holds a cap hit of $3 million, and I find it hard to believe that a team would be willing to take him on as his game is in such disarray.

I feel that he would probably acquire a one-year deal at league minimum to rebuild his career.

The Oilers will be on the road and they will be playing the Arizona Coyotes on Monday, March 27th chat game time will be at 10:00 PM eastern.
