Great News For the Edmonton Oilers today, as a major update on Dylan Holloway was issued
The Edmonton Oilers will be in great shape soon as rookie Dylan Holloway returns to the lineup, according to head coach Jay Woodcroft.
In the aftermath of Holloway blocking a shot from the Canucks, he left the ice and did not return. After being hit in the hand in the third period, he did not return to the game.
While it wasn't clear how severe the injury was, he was held out of the lineup and extra precautions were taken.
Unfortunately, Holloway has been hampered by injuries throughout his NHL career. He has the potential to be an excellent top-six forward once he reaches his full potential.
In spite of the Oilers disappointing loss to the Vancouver Canucks, he is a key depth piece in the lineup.
If Holloway is healthy, the Oilers should be able to play a full 60 minutes and perform better on Saturday.
This time around, the team will have to outwork the Canucks.
