NHL Player Safety Hands Out The Maximum Amount of Fine Under The CBA
The NHL player safety has fined Arizona's defenceman Juuso Valimaki $4,189.19 for slashing Anaheim's Forward Max Jones. This fine is the maximum allowed under the CBA.
Valimaki 24, was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the first round, he went 16th overall in 2017.
Valimaki Was placed on waivers by Calgary, and was claimed by Arizona. Recently he signed a 1 year contract with the Coyotes at $1 million in that span.
So far this year Valimaki has registered 2 goals and 10 assist 14:59 of ice time per game this season.
