The Western Conference playoff race is continuing to shape up as a photo finish with only a few games remaining. Numerous teams are all within one or two points of one another for either a home-ice advantage or winning the division outright.
In the Pacific division, only five points is separating three teams from first place. Vegas currently holds at 104, LA has 100 and the Oilers have 99 going into tonight's game.
Oilers Nation got a preview of a potential playoff matchup with the LA Kings and if this series happens, Oilers Nation will be in for a real treat.
Oiler's centerman Nick Bjugstad forced Kings forward Alex Iafallo into the boards which led to a scrum behind the net. Tempers continued to flare across the game as the Oilers and the Kings continued to re-acquaint themselves.
No matter which team the Oilers face, this playoff will be one of the more exciting ones in recent memory as so many teams are trying to compete for the Stanley Cup. Many of them have a good chance to win which makes it even more exciting.
The Oilers will continue their southern Californian road trip and face the Anaheim Ducks on March 5th game time will be at 10:00 PM Eastern.
