Having watched many NHL games throughout my life, there's always this one player that would get under your skin no matter what he does and usually he's on the opposite team that you cheer for. Whether it's Darcy Tucker of the Toronto Maple Leafs or Sean Avery of the New York Rangers, there's always someone who drives you nuts.
Apparently, on Twitter, an NHL menace tier list appeared where it shows the top six tiers of who is considered the most menacing in the NHL. In Tier 1 Matthew Tkachuk and Brad Marchand lead the pack. As far as the Oilers are concerned, Evander Kane sits in the Tier 3 level along with Yanni Gourde (Seattle Kraken) and Jacob Trouba of the New York Rangers.
Kane certainly plays with an edge to his game it makes his opponents understand that he will not take any of their crap. His physicality and drive to the net give him the edge he needs. He also will not hesitate to drop the gloves to defend his teammates or himself.
After such an up-and-down season and a gruesome injury to top it off, many in the Oilers organization hope that Kane can return to his form two seasons ago and help the Oilers drive for another Stanley Cup run.
