REPORT: Sad News Regarding Defensemen Kris Letang
Kris Letang of the Pittsburgh Penguins has hada challenging season, but he emerged from it with a cheerful and upbeat attitude. Just fourteen days after suffering his second stroke of his life, Letang made a comeback and returned to play.
Letang has been cleared to play and has reportedly had zero setbacksfrom his stroke, which is fantastic news, but the Penguins do have one more slightly bad report for Letang.
Letang's absence from the Penguins' morning practice caused significant concern; thankfully, it is unrelated to his previous stroke, but sadly it is yet another injury, this time to the lower body.
The Penguins don't want to hear this as they already have a number of injured players, including two more defenseman in Jeff Petry and Chad Ruhwedel. Letang should really be able to bounce back stronger and unharmed, and hopefully he takes the time he needs to properly recover.
