Except for the NHL, we rarely hear about other leagues until there are some noteworthy bouts, brawls, or problematic situations.
We now have a new problematic situation outside of the NHL, and it's an interesting one to say the least..
An angry player threw his stick at the referee, injuring him in the chest, after the official made a bad decision on the ice.

The referee may file charges because there was an assault, but there haven't been any developments provided as of yet.
