In interviews, Ryan Reaves doesn't hold back his words; as one of the few shining personalities in the league, he is a character.

It was announced in the off-season that the Toronto Maple Leafs signed him to a 3-year deal as one of the last heavyweights in the league.

As he faced his former teammates in the Minnesota Wild, he was asked whether he might hit or fight them. He answered without hesitation.

Sometimes when you're better friends with them, you want to lay them out a little more. Unfortunately for them, I became pretty good friends with all of them," Reaves stated.

No matter what, he would definitely lay them out if he had the chance.

He kept his promise, however, as he fought former teammate Marcus Foligno again after a huge hit on Freddy Gaudreau. In the above picture, you can see round 1.

As it appears Foligno needs to improve his boxing skills, he was defeated handily.

If there's anyone as reliable as Reaves, I'd like to see it!
