There's no doubt that Winnipeg Jets star Mark Scheifele is a very talented player. However, Scheifele has also been criticized for taking bad penalties and multiple tantrums when things don't go his way.
During Friday night's game between the Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets, with the Capitals up 2-0, Scheifele would race for a puck in the Capitals end. The linesman deemed it icing and blew the whistle.
Scheifele didn't agree and out of frustration would make a bad decision, shooting the puck and hitting the official. Scheifele could of got penalized worse, but the officials gave him a 2 minute unsportsmanlike penalty.
We don't know if Scheifele will be fined or suspended but don't be surprised if the NHL player safety committee takes a look at this.
