New video emerges of Wayne Gretzky speaking to Team Canada during 4 Nations Faceoff

A new video has emerged in the wake of the Four Nations face off showing former Oilers legend Wayne Gretzky with Team Canada as he was asked to read off the opening line up and give a speech to all the players.
Gretzky's speech was short but effective as he told the players that there's nothing more important than playing for their country and that they have made the hockey world proud.
4 Nations gives country a taste of the upcoming Winter Olympics
Team Canada managed to pull off a 3-2 victory in overtime against Team USA and this edition of this team is a sample of what Canadian hockey fans will see when the Winter Olympics begins in 2026 in Milan Italy.
Speculation has already been said on who will be on that team as this tournament will be picked apart by all pundits, managers and coaching staff to which players would be better suited for Olympic play.
Oilers superstar Connor McDavid gave the fans of the Four Nations tournament a glimpse of what he can do as he had scored the winner for the finals which keeps the United States winless against Canada in best on best play since 1996.
NHL exams 4 Nations for potential changes to regular season play
The NHL will examine some changes they had made during the tournament to see if it can translate into next season's schedule. The league had tried 10-minute overtimes of three on three, shorter intermissions and longer TV timeouts.
Many feel that these changes will not be implemented even though players like McDavid have expressed the liking of a longer overtime to prevent shootouts.
It remains to be seen on how it will move forward but one thing is clear, the gap between best-on-best play has come to an end and hockey fans will get to see this kind of tournament far more often going forward.
