Trade rumor activity has picked up significantly since news broke that Oilers forward Evander Kane had submitted his 16 team approved trade list which has revealed three potential destinations.

Over the past couple of weeks, news reports of the Oilers making the decision on Kane grew louder as the team is looking to upgrade its roster at the NHL trade deadline but may need to move his salary in order to do so.

Three teams fit a trade the Oilers would be interested in

Firstly, the Boston Bruins could be the team that would fit well for Kane as the organization has been preaching physicality in their game and offering a bruising style of hockey that would compliment came perfectly.
"You need Evander Kane to play ball and he doesn't have the greatest track record of playing ball with many NHL teams."

It's clear that the Bruins are not the same team they were three years ago and if they were to acquire came he would certainly slide into their core players and give the team a much needed boost physically and with his scoring touch.
Another option would be the Utah hockey club as this restructuring hockey team would be looking to buy this trade deadline as they currently hold $28.522 million in cap space at the deadline.
Utah HC's Ryan Smith and his ownership group would love to add a player like Kane to his lineup and the team certainly has plenty of cap space, draft capital and prospects that the Oilers would love to pluck off their roster.
Adding Kane to the roster would certainly give the new franchise a face that could help grow ticket sales and position in the organization well in the Western
Conference.

Never count out the Florida Panthers with Kane

Much like the Bruins, the Florida Panthers are the poster child of physicality in hockey especially when it comes to playoff hockey.
The team had recently announced that Matthew Tkachuk will be on long term injury reserve for the remainder of the season which will give the team $8.75 million in cap space.
Adding Kane would augment their physicality even more than make them even more difficult to play against while only costing the team $5.125 million and still have enough money leftover to add a potential defenseman or another bottom 6 forward.
Panthers general manager Bill Zito has always been aggressive at the deadline and after adding Seth Jones earlier yesterday, it's safe to say he's not done.
In the end, it remains to be seen on how the Oilers will decide on Kane's future but it's safe to say there are plenty of options that would be willing to take on his contract and bring his style of play into their organizations.
