The Hockey Community is Sad to Announce a Saddened Death After a Lost Battle to Cancer
The Dallas Stars announced a devastating passing inside their organization on social media. The Dallas Stars released the statement below:
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we share the passing of longtime Stars locker room security officer, Don Widdicombe, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Don will forever be remembered as family. These doors will always be yours.
We'll miss you, Don.
On the 30th, Don passed away tragically, and his close buddy Mike Modano also posted the following:
He tragically lost his fight with pancreatic cancer, and the hockey community will always hold a special place in their hearts for him.
