The NHL franchise, Vegas Golden Knights, finally clinched their first Stanley Cup win in six years. Bruce Cassidy and Jack Eichel were deemed as the missing pieces to their success.

However, recent departures from the coaching staff, including Ryan Craig's relocation to the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights and Misha Donkov's departure, have raised concerns about their ability to sustain their triumph.

The Golden Knights have hired former Montreal Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme as an assistant coach.

They have also promoted HSK assistant and former NHLer Joel Ward to VGK assistant coach.

To address these changes, the Golden Knights have hired Dominique Ducharme and former Henderson Silver Knights assistant coach, Joel Ward.

It is noteworthy that Ducharme's post-season record is not as impressive as someone like Bruce Cassidy, but he may see this opportunity as a stepping stone to a future head coaching role.

Joel Ward, who has been with the Henderson Silver Knights since its inception, has been promoted to the Golden Knights coaching staff.

He has contributed to the development of promising prospects like Logan Thompson.
