Any player joining a new team will be looking to make an impression in their first few days at training camp, and Warren Foegele did just that today.

In his first practice with the Los Angeles, Warren Foegele reportedly got in an intense battle in the corner with Tanner Jeannot, and they had to be separated by other players.

Tanner Jeannot is also joining the Kings for the first time this season, and he has much more of a reputation for a mean streak than Foegele does. Still, it's good for Foegele to also engage and be a physical force himself. It's a good sign when players get into heated battles in a competitive practice, as long as there isn't any actual lingering animosities. Usually, players will clear the air immediately after.

Warren Foegele played the last three seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, and he always brought speed and a tenacious forecheck in the bottom six. He had a career best season last year, scoring 20 goals for the first time and notching 41 points in 82 games. The Kings signed Foegele to a three year contract at $3.5M. Consistency could sometimes be an issue for him, but Oilers fans will remember him a solid player and teammate.
