NHLPA decided to opt against a suspension and only gives Trouba a small fine.

Jacob Trouba continues to paint himself as one of the dirtiest players in the league, with his clear intent to injure plays like the elbow he threw yesterday against the Panthers. Somehow Trouba has managed to avoid suspension, getting away with only a $5,000 dollar fine.

Trouba continues to be unpunished by the NHLPA, even though he shows time and time again that he has no regard for player safety. Trouba deserves the label of a repeat offender for how much he does things like this and should be given extra games in a suspension for his lack of clean play.

The whole league knows that Trouba does things like this and it only gets worse in the playoffs. Paul Maurice was asked what he thought about the Trouba suspension, to which he responded with an all-time hilarious quote.

Trouba definitely should have gotten at least some type of suspension for this, even if it was just one game. There needs to be some kind of preventative measure in place to prevent things like this happening in the future, or you could have a player end up getting seriously hurt.
