Trouba in line for massive suspension after another elbow to the head
The king of all dirty players, Jacob Trouba, upsets fans once again with a terrible elbow to the head.
With the Panthers and Rangers games having been so full of infractions, it was inevitable that's today's game would most likely see a player take it too far again. Of course it happened during the game, and of course it was Jacob Trouba with another flying elbow.
Jacob Trouba is a player who has made many milestones in the NHL and has the utmost honour of being the captain of an original 6 franchise. This isn't what Trouba is known for however, as he is mostly known for his dirty hits.
Jacob Trouba has so many dirty hits that there are whole highlight reels of his dirty hits online. His signature move seems to be the flying elbow, where if a player dodges out of the way of his hit he'll stick his elbow out and hit them, usually in the head. This has become the Trouba classic and is synonymous with most of his worst offenses.
There are very few players who deserve extra discipline due to their history of offenses, but Jacob Trouba is one who deserved extra discipline multiple high-hits ago. Trouba is the definition of a repeat offender and clearly has no regard for the safety of other players. People who can't control how to use the physicality of the game while keeping players safe should not be allowed to keep doing this without severe discipline.
