The Edmonton Oilers looked like they had game one in the bag when Leon Draisaitl gave the Oilers a 3-1 lead late in the 3rd period.
Adrian Kempe would come right back and score his 2nd of the game to make it a one goal game again.
The Oilers would take a penalty for cross checking with less then two minutes to play and Kings Anze Kopitar would make the Oilers pay tying it up 3-3 with just 17 seconds left in the 3rd period.
In overtime the Officials would make a terrible call, giving Vincent Desharnais a tripping penalty.
That's when Kings Alex Lafallo would score the winner giving the Kings a 4-3 overtime win, stunning the fans in Rogers Place.
Alex Iafallo told me post game he knew puck was in back of net when he let it go. "I just hammered it, that's a big win."
