Things started well for the Edmonton Oilers Monday night as they opened up their first round series again vs the Los Angeles Kings. Leon Draisaitl would get the Oilers a 1-0 lead and later Evan Bouchard would add to it making it 2-0 Oilers. The Kings would get one back to stay in the game.

Oilers fans would go crazy when Draisaitl made it 3-1 Oilers with 8 minutes left in the 3rd period it looked liked this one was in the bag.

The Kings Adrian Kempe would score his 2nd of the game to make it interesting.

Oilers fans proceeded to throw items on the ice, to the point where the arena announcer had to put out an announcement that anyone who continues to litter would be removed from the arena.

The Oilers would take a bad penalty in the final two minutes, and you likely know what's next.. the Kings Anze Kopitar tied the game with just 17 seconds after Stuart Skinner lost track of the puck in his crease.

In overtime the Officials made one of the worst tripping calls we've ever seen giving the Kings an overtime power play and Alex Lafallo would snipe it past Skinner giving the Kings a 4-3 win

After the game Oilers fans showed their frustrations by littering the ice with the free pom poms they handed out before the game, along with other garbage showing how they felt about the ending of this game.
