It's clear after the recent play of Stuart Skinner, but he needs a break as the team continues to lean on his skills quite heavily. The team is currently mired in a three-game losing streak and has looked terrible at times and needs a shake up.

With no goalie trade on the horizon as many teams are either asking for a King's ransom for their goalies or the salary cap is playing too hard to make a move possible, the Oilers will need to be creative in trying to find a way to bring in some help.

There's one goaltender they have not tried and that is Olivier Rodrigue of the Bakersfield Condors.

The 22-year-old was drafted in the second round of the 2018 Entry Draft at 62nd overall. His overall play has been respectable as he's played six games for the condors this season and has a record of 2-2-1 with a 2.17 goals against and a 0.935 save percentage.

The team is currently leaning on Calvin Pickard to being the backup goalie, but he has not panned out as hoped.

I would expect if this slide continues to worsen, General Manager Ken Holland will look to the condors for a solution to try and help stop the bleeding before it's too late.
