Chicago Blackhawks make major update on health of Connor Bedard
According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun Times, the Blackhawks are hopeful to have Bedard returning next week. With confidence that his last doctor's appointment being on February 19th.
The Chicago Blackhawks have looked like an AHL team since mid-December. The team has fought through several injuries including Taylor Hall, Andreas Athanasiou, Anthony Beauvillier and of course Connor Bedard.
The Hawks have only picked up 5 wins since December 18th, when Connor Bedard broke his jaw, which caused him to miss significant time as he required jaw surgery.
Although it has been a dreadful season for Blackhawks fans, their future is looking bright with prospect stars such as Lukas Reichel, Ian Mitchel, Alex Vlasic, and obviously Connor Bedard who are still growing with the team.
With Bedard being back, fans can look forward to his admirable skill and game changing abilities, and although they are a bottom feeding team, they can always have hopes for next years lottery.
