Since being sent to the minors to build confidence and find his game again, Jack Campbell has only continued to struggle. Being at the AHL level, struggling more against weaker talent is causing serious doubt to everyone in the organization that Campbell can be an NHL goaltender.

Now with a record of 0-3 and a horrific .819 save percentage in his last three games, Campbell hit rock bottom when he was pulled in his last appearance with the Bakersfield Condors. At practice today, the Condors' Head Coach Colin Chaulk was clear in his comments, asking for much more from Jack Campbell.

If he's being called out by the AHL coach for the same problem he had with the Oilers - just making the easy saves - then Campbell appears to be totally unsalvageable as a goalie.

As these struggles continue, Campbell's contract and the need for a competent goalie are the Oilers biggest needs at the moment, and need to be addressed by GM Ken Holland soon.
