BREAKING - Surprise Injury News Hits The Edmonton Oilers
On Saturday, the Edmonton Oilers will get another helping hand against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The team will welcome back Connor Brown on Saturday after he missed six games due to injury.
Reporter Mark Spector witnessed Brown leading the team in a post-practice stretch.
After suffering a lower-body injury during the Oilers' 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars earlier this month, Brown was out.
As a result of accelerating after a face-off, he appeared to have injured his foot in the first period and did not return.

Looks like he's in tmw in Tampa.
Brown was thought to have seriously injured himself again and may have to go on LTIR, but to do that you have to be out longer than ten games, which Brown had been out for six games.

He will return to the lineup tomorrow.
He was playing quite well the five games prior to tweaking his groin, and he needs to get back to that level right away.
Due to the fact that he is playing in his tenth game with the Oilers, he will receive the $3.25 million dollar bonus, as his salary is a league minimum $775K.
Although Brown hasn't scored in 9 games, his 61.9% shot differential indicates that change may be around the corner.
