Oilers fan with wild jersey foul caught on camera
The Edmonton Oilers are a smaller market team, compared to the financial powerhouses in larger cities across the NHL. However, the Oilers' two generational talents and their passionate fans that follow the team's every move elevate the Oilers to having one of the best fan bases in the league.
During the team's win in New Jersey, when the Oilers took the lead early in the third period, a fan was caught on camera with an absolutely wild jersey. It contained both numbers 29 and 97, and a combined name plate of McDrai'.
It was an absolutely hilarious visual on the camera, and really surprising to see on the road in New Jersey. It's a big testament to the passion of Oilers fans that follow the team throughout North America.
This specific fan picked a great game to attend, seeing both McDavid and Draisaitl score a goal to lead the Oilers on their comeback win by the score of 6-3.
