With the Oilers - Canucks series now tied 1-1, the series now moves to Edmonton where the Oilers look to take control and walk away with two home games. Canucks defenseman Nikita Zadorov talk to reporters and sent a huge insult to the city of Edmonton after he was asked about the Oilers fan base and how to play in Rogers Place.

"It's fun, they have good fans, diehard fans. I mean, there's pretty much nothing else to do in that city except watch hockey."

Zadorov, has been never shy towards his comments especially when it comes to Edmonton as he was a former Calgary Flame who had many battles with the Oilers during the battle of Alberta. Of course, there is plenty to do in Edmonton and this is just one of many insults and jabs that are being thrown around between the two cities.

The 29-year-old defenseman has played eight playoff games and has massed 7 points.

«It's a 1-1 series going back to Edmonton. It's only going to get like that. Competitive guys on both sides. Lots of physicality and lots of guys who play with the edge.»

Both mayors joined in on wagers

Even the mayors of both Edmonton and Vancouver joined in when both had a wager that if their city won the opposite mayor would have to wear a jersey and fly the winning team's flag at City Hall. Mayor Ken Sim of Vancouver took it a step further when he decidedto slapshot a stuffed Oilers mascot out the window and into the mouth of the killer whale mascot of the Canucks.

In the end, it's going to be a great series and with the Oilers now holding the momentum going home with home ice advantage and beating the Canucks 4-3 in overtime, the city and the fanbase is looking forward to Game 3.
