Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle McDavid are now officially a married couple, and they're surely a unique couple with their regular routines of ice baths.
McDavid and his wife Lauren have previously shared plenty of their personal lives on social media, including a similar activity of doing wind sprints in the Edmonton winter.

McDavid posted a video of himself and his wife Lauren Kyle getting into an ice bath outdoors in the middle of the Edmonton winter.
Sometimes I tell myself, in the heat of it is, you know nothing's killed you yet. You made it through all of it. Some days it feels like you're going to die, in the gym or on the ice. But you always seem to make it through, I think that's a good reminder for yourself.
In temperatures regularly as low as -40, McDavid swears by ice baths as a form of rest and recovery following games and practices.
It's a little bit hilarious, crazy, and romantic that his wife Lauren would join Connor for his post-game ritual of ice baths. Athletes are famously creatures of habit, and it's great that McDavid has someone to share every moment with - even the ice baths.
The couple has always seemed to engage together with McDavid's off ice workouts, including sprints up the stairs in the middle of winter as well.
Connor and Lauren clearly have a fantastic relationship and are planning for a long future in the city of Edmonton. Lauren has also opened up a bar and restaurant in Edmonton, which really hints that McDavid sees himself building a life and his family in Edmonton - with a contract extension soon.
It's great to see the Oilers captain thriving off the ice, which will only help his on ice performance and the chances that he stays in Edmonton long term.
