Earlier this week, a fan on the Edmonton Oilers reddit page shared an incredible story of being stuck in their car on a snowy road when Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins showed up to save the day.

The two teenage fans were interviewed recently by Global News and told the full story of being saved by their Oilers heroes. Their Hyundai Accent (which is a great car, by the way) was unfortunately caught in the snow when the two noticed a Porsche pull up. Hyman and Nugent-Hopkins got out, well dressed in their suits while coming back from a road trip to Seattle, and called out to the boys, «Hey fellas, you guys need any help?»

They went right up against my bumper and were just shoving er'. We're just pushing against the car and I'm looking, I'm like, there's no way this is Zach Hyman!

After they were able to push the car free from the snow, the group took a photo to commemorate the moment.

It's amazing to see a pair of Oilers stars being also being stars off the ice. Between their roadside assistance and their incredible on-ice success, there's not much that Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins aren't doing for the city of Edmonton this year.
