A Tragic Death Has Struck The Letang Family
Kris Letang, a defenseman for the Pittsburgh Penguins, had a terrible year in 2022, and it tragically continued into the new year.
Letang was out of action after suffering his second stroke just over a month ago, but he recovered quickly and was back in practice on December 8th, which was very wonderful to see!
Letang recently missed a game due to an injury; as further troubling news emerges, he will now be out indefinitely due to something a lot more serious.
As they were in Boston getting ready for today's Winter Classic game against the Boston Bruins, Letang and the Penguins learned the heartbreaking news this morning. Letang had no intention of playing due to his injury, but he still intended to go with his team.
There is no estimated timing of Kris Letang's return, and we would want to express our deepest sympathy.
