Throughout these playoffs, besides the goals scored and the series won, officiating has been one of the hottest topic subjects in recent memory.

Every series almost every game seems to be a story or two with video evidence that the refereeing and officiating in the NHL has gone sideways and players and coaches are baffled about how to play the game.

During game three tonight, the poor refereeing was on display again and seemed to favour the Golden Knights where Chandler Stephenson apparently must the ability to skate and tripped over his while making it look like Sasha Barkov created the trip.

As I watch this replay from different angles, it appears that Stephenson fell over his skates without being pushed. A penalty was called at the end of the period, but no goals were scored.

Several fans reached out on Twitter and lit up the platform with anger and disgust at how the officiating has been going with this game and many other games during the series.

In my opinion, as long as Gary Bettman is the commissioner of this league I just don't see any changes coming to make the officiating and other issues throughout the NHL better.
