Andrew Brunette, former head coach for the Florida Panthers and current assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils, was arrested and charged with DUI on February 1st during All Star Weekend, according to reports. The arrest was made after Brunette allegedly operated a golf cart while intoxicated.

Recently, footage of the arrest has been released online, revealing more details about the incident. The video shows police stopping Brunette after he failed to stop at a stop sign. Following an investigation, the police determined that Brunette was under the influence of alcohol.

During a field sobriety test, Brunette attempted to call his lawyer and leave the scene, but the police intervened and decided to place him under arrest. In the video, one officer is seen warning Brunette against resisting arrest.

This latest incident highlights the dangers of drunk driving and the serious consequences that come with it. As a coach in the NHL, Brunette should be setting an example for his players and fans, and this behavior falls short of those expectations.
