Justin Kirkland was seriously hurt in a car accident on Sunday as he was on his way to the Anaheim Ducks' arena to play the Boston Bruins. Kirkland was brought to UCI Health, where he continues to be assessed. Many people are thinking about and praying for Kirkland during these trying times.

The Anaheim Ducks' general manager made the following announcement, which is listed below:

"We are thankful for the quick care and treatment Justin received from first responders and medical staff at UCI Health. Justin is in great spirits, and we hope he will be released shortly."
