BREAKING: NHL Player Transported to Hospital After Serious Car Accident
The hockey community is praying and thinking of the 26-year-old victim of a recent vehicle accident.
Justin Kirkland was seriously hurt in a car accident on Sunday as he was on his way to the Anaheim Ducks' arena to play the Boston Bruins. Kirkland was brought to UCI Health, where he continues to be assessed. Many people are thinking about and praying for Kirkland during these trying times.
The Anaheim Ducks' general manager made the following announcement, which is listed below:
"We are thankful for the quick care and treatment Justin received from first responders and medical staff at UCI Health. Justin is in great spirits, and we hope he will be released shortly."
Kirkland was selected 62nd overall by the Nashville Predators in 2014, and since then, he has played for the NHL's Anaheim Ducks and the minor league Calgary Flames.
